Items that we need to do

This is a list of items that we need to do (I think). Feel free to edit & comment inline. If you agree with something, put your initials underneath it. Once we are all in agreement, we should have one direction, with 4 sets of initials beneath it.

We need to make a place for people to submit questions.

We need to make a document when new accounts are created that lets people know that any data they submit to the KB becomes public domain information

I added a fourth user: KB Admin. There are people who know IPv6 (Jim) and people who know KB (Brett or John). They might intersect, but there are cases where they need to be different. For instance, I don't see myself approving documents, but I do see myself re-arranging articles.

Is there a way to make folders in the Links area so we can organize them?

folders can be created, however, there is not guarantee folks will use them. smart folders are a different story are more complicated. what do you suggest as categories?

Long Term Items:

Dynamic Content: Changing the logo based on the referrer.

Completed Items:

We need to make an upload / holding area for common folk to upload information into. (Public Submissions)

We need an area for member published material. I.e. someplace we can put documents that aren't being edited, but are for TF+KB members only (like the user permissions) (Members Only Area)

We need a new logo, but we need to decide what should be in the logo and footer. (New Logo is live)

We should avoid creating a forum area at this time, as it is scope creep, and will not solve the targeted problem of collecting IPv6 knowledge, vetting it, and publishing it for others. (We have decided not to do this, discussion enabled by default on items to keep discussion on topic regarding the document)

We need to learn what the different Plone roles mean (Reviewer, owner, etc.). Brett will try to find a quick reference and post on KB. (I posted URLs in the Links Area)

We need to make sure that commenting on articles is enabled by default, I believe the default at the moment is disabled (John made this change)
